Boston Pops Holiday Concert

Continuing one of Manchester’s most beloved traditions, the Holiday Pops returns to Manchester for their 14th consecutive year on December 12th at 7:30pm, under Keith Lockhart‘s direction. Affectionately known as “America’s Orchestra,” the Boston Pops is the most recorded and arguably the most beloved orchestra in the country. Beyond this, Boston Pops Holiday Concert is one of New England’s most treasured Christmastime traditions. Special guests taking the stage at the holiday concert will include The Metropolitan Chorale.

Boston Pops conductor Keith Lockhart has conducted nearly 1,700 Boston Pops concerts in his twenty-year tenure, making him the second longest-tenured conductor of the Boston Pops Orchestra since the orchestra’s founding in 1885. Lockhart is loved and admired by audiences for his inimitable style, expressed through his consummate music-making and unique ability to speak directly to the audience about the music he is so passionate about. Lockhart has led the orchestra on 40 national tours to 134 cities in 33 states, as well as four international tour to Japan and Korea.
