New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Maine State Police have a team effort approach to traffic patrols over Memorial Day weekend. State police plan high-visibility patrols on Interstate 93 from Interstate 495 in Massachusetts to the Hooksett Tolls in New Hampshire and Interstate 95 from Danvers, Massachusetts, to the Maine border. The New Hampshire State Police says it will be adding patrols, using laser, radar, motorcycles, aircraft as well as conventional patrols.

New Hampshire tourism officials estimate about 560,000 out-of-state visitors will arrive during the Memorial Day weekend and spend about $89 million, up by 2 percent from a year ago.
