OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES
“96.5 The Mill’s Guitar Hero Week”
December 8th –December 12th, 2008
1. 96.5 THE MILL will award 10 qualifying prizes of Guitar Hero World Tour (valued at $50). One of the qualifying winners will win a grand prize of a Gretsch Electromatic Guitar and Behringer V-Tone amp package (valued at $780).
2. How to win: All qualifying prize winners must be 18 years or older to win. Contesting will run December 8th through December 12th with 2 cues to call each day Monday through Friday. To win, listeners must call 603-669-9650 and be caller number 9 after they hear the cue to call. One qualifying winner will be randomly chosen as the Grand Prize winner.
3. 96.5 THE MILL reserves the right to postpone or extend the contest dates.
4. 96.5 THE MILL cannot be responsible for a listener’s inability to complete the required entry or call to win whether due to equipment malfunction, timing, transportation, or telephone difficulties. Odds of qualifying cannot be determined at this time and depend on the number of listeners calling in. Once qualified, the odds of winning are one in 10.
5. Who’s Eligible: Contest is open to any resident of Southern New Hampshire and the surrounding 96.5 THE MILL listening area, aged 18 or over, except employees, their families, officers, directors and stockholders of Manchester Radio Group, Inc., its parent companies, any other radio station listed in the Southern New Hampshire Market Definition or any of the affiliates and agencies involved in the production or distribution of materials for this giveaway. One entry per household will be permitted to participate in a contest. The individual/household is permitted to win only one prize every 90 days. 96.5 THE MILL reserves the right to disqualify any winner if the contest rules have been violated.

7. Grand Prize Winner’s Release: Grand Prize winner must claim the prize certificate at the 96.5 THE MILL studios, 500 Commercial St, Manchester, NH 03104, during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00AM – 5:00PM, unless otherwise noted.To claim the prize, the winner mustpresent identification and sign a release a) permitting reasonable use of name, voice, likeness, and biographical information and b) releasing Manchester Radio Group, Inc., any of the participating sponsors, their officers, directors, stockholders, and employees from any and all claims, liabilities and damages arising directly or indirectly out of award or use of the prize. Grand Prize winner will be obligated to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and provide their social security/tax identification number before receiving the prizes.In accordance with IRS regulations, any winner receiving prize(s) valued at $600 or more in a given calendar year will be furnished a copy of IRS Form 1099 (miscellaneous income). The winner agrees to waive any claim of royalty or right of remuneration for any such promotional use and agrees not to appear on, or on behalf of, any radio or TV station for a period of one (1) year after acceptance of prize.
8. Qualifying winners must claim their prize at the 96.5 THE MILL studios during regular business hour
Monday through Friday, 8:00AM – 5:00PM or the prize may be mailed to winner’s home address. All winners are required to present a valid article of identification and will be required to pick up the prize
themselves. No substitute will be allowed to pick up prizes--no exceptions. All identification submitted to
verify a winner is subject to acceptance by 96.5 THE MILL in its sole discretion. Identification, which is
counterfeit, illegible, tampered with or otherwise altered, will not be accepted. All prizes are to be claimed
within 30 days of date of issue, unless otherwise noted. Any prize not claimed within the allotted time period
would remain the sole property of 96.5 THE MILL or participating sponsor. The 90-day waiting period to play any other 96.5 THE MILL contest is in effect.
9. The person who calls 96.5 THE MILL to win/claim any prize and the person redeeming the prize must be one and the same, and will be considered the sole and exclusive winner. Prizes are non-transferable and non-assignable and are not redeemable for cash. Failure to comply with any requirement of these terms and conditions will result in the winning entrant being deemed ineligible for award. All prize-winners are responsible for any federal, state, and local taxes as well as any additional expenses incurred with use of the prize.
10. No purchase is necessary.
11. Where applicable; 96.5 THE MILL, affiliates, participating sponsors, their agencies and the like, or any member thereof, makes no claims of merchantability of Prize. See manufacturer(s) for complete warranty and operating instructions as it pertains to Prize. Prize value is determined by the current retail value and/or manufacturer’s retail value.
12. One winner per household, one winner per family for the duration of this contest. The term family shall include spouses, parents, children, grandparents, grandchildren and cohabiting significant others.
13. All decisions of 96.5 THE MILL concerning this contest or eligibility are final.
14. In the event the winner is subject to, or the subject of, any order or legal process issued by any governmental agency having jurisdiction over the affairs of the winner, (e.g. garnishment, child support order, judgment, lien and the like), Manchester Radio Group’ delivery of the prize to the official representative of the governmental entity claiming a right to the prize shall be entitled to rely in good faith upon any documents presented by the representatives seeking to collect the prize in lieu of the winner. Presentation of the prize to such authorized representative or entity shall be deemed as the same as having given the prize directly to the winner. Manchester Radio Group, Inc./Saga Communications, Inc. shall not be liable for any claim by winner for damage incidental thereto.
